This is the most beautiful plate of the Alexander Sarcophagus. It shows Alexander the Great on a horse wearing his lion's head dress (the first figure), Alexander's closest Companion Hephaestion is also on horse in the middle of the plate, and the Macedonian general Perdiccas (the last figure, also on horse).
