The Chinese-based company has proudly presented its new smart phone dock with the collaboration of iHealth labs. Apparently, the company feed the iHealth lab by making an investment of $25 million last week.

The next web states that the distribution of smart phone docks will be available for sale in china exclusively through Xiaomi’s official stores that will cost around $32(CNY 199).

The device is designed with the involvement of iHealth labs, which is capable to determine the blood pressure for both types such as Diastolic and systolic pressures, along with the measurement of heart beat accuracy of the user. The report further reveals that the “Dock” is mainly connected with a pad that will easily append with an individual’s arm in a similar way which happens in hospitals for tracking the same. Afterwards, the application will be installed for controlling the device in order to catch out the exact reading.

Additionally, Xiaomi claims that the new smart phone dock is very simple to deal with even the aged people will find it ideal to use. Moreover, the results of heart beat rate and blood pressure can also be shared with other person using companion application.

Currently, the device is launched solely in china and the company hasn’t passed any words with respect to launching it globally. In accordance with the Xiaomi’s spokesperson, “Xiaomi’s exclusive health gadget can also be embedded with other android Smart phone but its real performance is highly associated with Xiaomi’s smart phones”.

It is significant by addressing that iHealth lab has also launched the similar smart phone dock for the same purpose with the collaboration of Apple for their iPhone series. While, the price for such iPhone’s dock were $79.95 (CNY 490.62), which is comparatively doubled in cost as compared to Xiaomi’s smart phone dock.

Xiaomi made its first step in the slice of health-related gadgets back in July by launching “Mi Band” device with the Xiaomi’s lead ship smart phone named Mi4.
