XP Power came up with a new member of CCL400 series of convection cooled, 400W AC/DC power supplies; which are typically formulated to stimulate the efficiency level up to 95%.
The company claimed that this new technology will enhance the consistency and life of the product due to device mechanism that works at much lower temperatures!
The CCL400 series is especially designed to give undisrupted full 400W power along with the convection cooling at the temperature ranging from -40° to 50°C, depending upon the usage and even suitable top-work on any input voltage range.
While having the size of 100.3 x 177.8 x 39.9 mm, the device totally meets the standard of 1U chassis mount format. Moreover, the optional cover is also available for the device while ordering the device.
The CCL400 mainly provides different ranges of output voltages which consist 12, 24, 30 or 48VDC. A user trim function provides output voltage adjustment of +/-3% of stated nominal in order to accommodate the load losses.
This CCL400 completely matches with the ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 medical 3rd edition safety standard as well as abide by global IT standard usually termed as IEC/UL/EN60950-1 safety standard.
Protection features and control signals include power fail signal, remote sense and remote on/off. A +5VDC/0.5A always-on output is available to power logic circuits.
The devices also contain protection attributes with alarming signals for power shortfalls and remotely handled features.
The device is exploited for different medical related equipments for instance, blood processing, imaging and life support equipments. In short, the power supply series are the best option for handling medical equipment which lay down low audible noise specifications.
