Samsung is experiencing downward trends this quarter compared to the previous one as confirmed through official sources.

Samsung declared that, total operating profits generated in the third quarter are estimated to be $3.9 billion. However, the same case has not been with most of the companies dealing in the same industry from July to September, while Samsung has already added a massive boom of $9.6 billion in their record sales during the second quarter of this year, now, sales are below half-line from previous comparison.

Samsung is now sorting out all the possible reasons and inspecting from various aspects to figure out the major reasons of this sharp drop and the game starts from its flagship Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone series. It has been observed by Reuters that the Samsung’s high ended phones were flourished during the past two consecutive years, but its profits have been plunged from 6.7 million in 2013 to 1.75 trillion in the same period of 2014.

This greater extent decrease is mainly occurred due to fall in the prices of old phones as a result of cutthroat competition and low shipments of its flagship Smartphone/s. Oppose to this theory, the midrange Smartphone circle depicted a little high sales but those were not held enough to support the total shipments while, galaxy note 4 has not been in the product line since long to generate higher shipments.

The upset in total sales have negative impacts over the entire company in different domains such as CPU, display and memory businesses. The company is trying to use its TV category for selling as much Ultra HD and curved TVs as possible to cover up the targets for the year 2014. However, the shareholder will set to be more excited to see how Samsung will compete with less-expensive Chinese mobile manufacturers in the coming trends.
