Aerial Bundled Cable is a new type aeral bundled cable used for transmitting electric power overhead.

Applications

To supply power from the utilitys lines to the consumers weatherhead.For service at **0 volts or less(phase to phase) at a conductor temperature of *5oC maximum for polyethylene insulation or *0 oC maximum for crosslinked insulation.

Construcrtion

Concentric strand or compressed ****-H*9 conductor,polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene insulation,concentric strand AAC,ACSR or ***1 alloy neutral messenger.

Classification

 1. Duplex Service Drop

Primary used for **0 volt overhead service application such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporay service for construction. To be used at voltages of **0 volts phase to phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed  *5degee for polyethylene insulated conductor or *0 degree for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP)insulated conductors.

2.Triplex Service Drop

Used to supply power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer to the user's service head where the connections to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltage of **0 volts phase to phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed  *5degee for polyethylene insulated conductor or *0 degree for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP)insulated conductors. 

3. Quadruplex Service Drop

Used to supply 3 phase power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer to the user's service head where the connections to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltage of **0 volts phase to phase or less and at conductor temperature not to exceed  *5degee for polyethylene insulated conductor or *0 degree for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP)insulated conductors.
