Selection: Pecans are available in-shell or shelled as whole or half kernels or chopped/diced kernels of various sizes. In-shell nuts should be clean and free of severely damaged or cracked shells.
Storage and ripening: Refrigerate.
Quantity: 4 ounces of shelled pecans.

Step 1: Puree*-Process in a blender until finely ground.
