The bottom bracket is *8% stiffer than the P3, with a *0% increase in torsional stiffness. Comfort is also key to speed, particularly over longer distances, so the cockpits adjustability and the frames compliance both ensure that the power can be maintained for the full duration of any event. The hydration and nutrition storage is integral to the design rather than just an add-on, and so there is no aerodynamic penalty for ensuring a proper fuelling strategy. Shimanos **-speed mechanical groupset is renowned for its reliable, no-nonsense performance, giving very little away to the top-tier Dura-Ace in terms of shifting speed and accuracy.
