●Introduction

Optoscape 3u Rack mount media converter holds *0 *0/**0Mbps Ethernet media converters. They provide the connectivity between fiber-optic and twisted-pair (UTP or STP) cable. They provide fiber-optic network with flexible installation, in addition to the features of security, long-distance and high capacity. 3u Rack features a standard *9" rack-mountable size with only 3U height. The high port density design is most convenient for Telecom Company and Enterprise. 
The *0 Port Converter provides a central power supply to the converters and serves as a converter center and wiring concentrator. With redundant power supply, downtime is reduced when power supply failure occurs, as 3U rack has two hot-swappable power modules which can back up with each other.

Optoscape *0/**0Mbps media converter series are designed to convert a *0BASE-T and **0BASE-TX signal to a **0BASE-FX signal. It is used to extend the connection distance between two Ethernet Twisted-pair devices via fiber cable transparently with no performance degradation.
