Quality Control:

To test mechanical performance of wire ropes, we imported equipments like bending machine, torsion testing machine,universal testing machine and projector etc. Meanwhile, to test wire rope's chemistry performance, we have applied the equipment such as drying oven, viscosity instrument, conductivity meter, chemical test lab etc.

Question: What should be noted in storage and  transportation?

Answer:

a.The loading and unloading of wire ropes must be operated with a crane, or it may damage wooden reels and cause a messy situation. When carrying on ground, to avoid the hurt on wire ropes’ surface, rolling on uneven ground is not allowed. When the steel wire ropes without outside wrapping package are carried, the surface of steel wire ropes can’t stick to stones, clays and so on.

b.The steel wire rope should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, and kept out of direct sunlight or baked with hot air. Meanwhile, multi-layer stack should be avoided as well. If steel wire ropes with a very large volume are stored for a long time, inspection should be conducted frequently to get rid of rust. Once rusted, the wire ropes must be treated timely by re-covering with grease. If rust is severe, this rusted part should be scrapped. If steel wire ropes are stored outside, then they should be put on dry ground, under-laid with the plank, and canopied them.
