Product Description

1. ABC Cables Applications:
Used to supply 3 phase power, usually from a pole-mounted transformer, to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltages of **0 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperatures not to exceed *5°C for polyethylene insulated conductors or *0°C for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.
 
2. ABC Cables Construction:
Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed ****-H*9 aluminum. Insulated with either polyethylene or XLP crosslinked polyethylene. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded ***1, AAC, or ACSR.One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.

3. ABC Cables Standards:
(1) B***0 Aluminum Wire, ****-H*9 for Electrical Purposes.
(2) B***1 Aluminum conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
(3) B***2 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric- Lay-Stranded, Coated Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
(4) B***9 Concentric-Lay-Stranded, ****-T*1 Aluminum Alloy Conductors.
(5) B**8 Zinc-Coated Steel Core Wire for Aluminum Conductors, Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
(6) Quadruplex Service Drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ANSI/ICEA S******4.

4. ABC Cables Using Properties
(1) Rated Voltage:0.6/1kV
(2) Cable installation temperature not less than **0°C
(3) Max. temperature of cable at short circuit(The max. duration does not exceed 5 minutes)
   For XLPE insulation is **0°C.
   For HDPE insulation is **0 °C.
(4) The Max. bending radius of cable shall not be less than *0Dmm(D overall diameter of cable)

5. Type of ABC Cable
(1) Duplex Service Drop:To supply **0 volt aerial service for temporary service at construction sites,outdoor or street lighting . For service at **0 volts or lower at a conductor temperature of *5 maximum.
(2) Triplex Service Drop: To supply power from the ulility`s lines to the consumer`s weatherhead. For service at **0 volts or less(phase to phase ) at a conductor temperature of *5 maximum for PE insulation or *0 maximum for XLPE insulation .
(3) Quadruplex Service Drop: Used to supply 3 phase power , usually from a pole-mounted transformer to the use`s servic head where connection to the service entance cable is made . To be used at voltages of **0 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperature not to exceed *5 for PE insulated conductors or *0 for XLPE insulated conductors.
