The acai fruit are wild harvested by local communities in the Amazon jungle, and the fruit pulp, which contains *0% fats, is depulped and the cold pressed to extract the highly nutritious oil. Rich in Omega 9, and with a fatty acid profile similar to that of olive oil, the acai oil can be considered a heart healthy oil, with the added benefit of a high levels antioxidants natural to the Acai pulp.
