Purpose and scope
The instrument is designed and made as per GB/T**4 Test Methods for Acid Value of Petroleum Products and GB/T**8 Test Methods for Acidity of Gasoline, Kerosene and Diesel Oil. It is suitable to determine acidity of gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil without any ethyl liquids, and the acid value of petroleum products. The test methods are as follows: use ethanol to extract acid component in the sample and then use alkali liquids to titrate it.
The instrument is also suitable to determine acid value of transformer oil and turbine oil as per GB/T***9 Test Methods for Acid Value of Transformer Oil, Turbine Oil on Process in the National Standard of People Republic of China.
