Silver impregnated carbon is an effective bacteriostatic.  A substance that arrests the proliferation of bacteria in a medium is referred to as bacteriostatic.  Silver impregnated carbon is capable of killing about ***0 - ****0 bacteria in 1 ml of water that passes through it.  So, one can easily understand the efficiency of silver impregnated carbon as a bacteriostatic.

Carbon pellets, activated carbon in form of pellets are manufactured with and without impregnation.  The actived carbon blocks that we manufacture could be used as an efficient cartridge for water filtration.  We are also manufacture and market filter cartridges.
