Product description: The difference from chemically pure titanium is that industrial pure titanium contains a large amount of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and various other impurity elements (such as iron, silicon, etc.), which is essentially a titanium alloy with low alloy content. Compared with chemically pure titanium, its strength is greatly improved due to the inclusion of more impurity elements, and its mechanical and chemical properties are similar to those of stainless steel (but still lower in strength compared to titanium alloys).

 

The characteristics of industrial pure titanium bars are:

 low strength, but good plasticity, easy processing, stamping, welding, and good machinability; in the atmosphere, seawater, wet chlorine and oxidizing, neutral, weakly reducing media Good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance are better than most austenitic stainless steels; but the heat resistance is poor, and the operating temperature should not be too high.

 

Industrial pure titanium bar is mainly used for working temperature below **0 ℃, with little stress, but requires good plastic stamping parts and corrosion-resistant structural parts, such as: aircraft skeleton, skin, engine accessories; seawater corrosion-resistant pipes for ships, Valves, pumps and hydrofoils, parts of seawater desalination systems; chemical heat exchangers, pump bodies, distillation towers, coolers, agitators, tees, impellers, fasteners, ion pumps, compressor valves and diesel Engine pistons, connecting rods, leaf springs, etc.

 Technical Requirements

 

 

1: The diameter or side length of the hot-worked bar and its allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of Table 1.

 

2: After hot processing, the bar is turned (ground) and cold-rolled, and the allowable deviation of the diameter of the cold-drawn bar should meet the requirements of Table 2.

 

3: The out-of-roundness of the bar that has been turned (ground) after hot processing should not be greater than half of its dimensional tolerance.

 

4: The indefinite length of the processed bar is *******0mm, and the indefinite length of the annealed bar is *******0mm. The fixed or double length should be within the range of the indefinite length. The allowable deviation of the fixed length is **0mm ; The length of the double ruler should also be included in the incision amount of the bar, and the amount of each incision is 5mm. The length of the fixed length or the double ruler should be indicated in the contract.
