A unique TIME SWITCH for switching ON Outdoor Lighting at dusk & switching OFF at dawn without any light sensor. ASTRONOMICAL TIME SWITCH uses Micro-controller technology & Intelligent Astronomic Software to calculate sunset & sunrise time each day in an Astronomic Year for any Geographic Location. Twilight setting allows correction of switching time & saving in energy as switching ON is delayed by set Twilight duration at sunset time & switching OFF takes place earlier than sunrise time by set Twilight duration. Standard output (CH1) switches ON in the evening & switches OFF in the morning at calculated sunset & sunrise time adjusted by set Twilight duration. Energy saving output (CH2) switches ON in the evening with CH1 & goes OFF after set Evening ON duration in the night & switches ON again for set Morning ON duration before going OFF with CH1 in the morning. Thus keeping the lights connected to CH2 OFF for few hours in the night & saving considerable energy. Automatic switching ON & OFF, once all settings are entered correctly. By setting Geographic location details: Latitude, Longitude & Time Zone sunset & sunrise time is calculated with an accuracy of +/- 5 minutes by Astronomic Software for any place. Energy saving output CH2 switches OFF for few hours in night. Evening ON & morning ON duration hours are independently settable.
