Ecospec’s BacComber system is equipped with an Auto Bleed System (ABS) that constantly monitors the concentration of Total Dissolved Soluble (TDS) and water conductivity. Ensuring a TDS range of *******0 ppm and conductivity of ***0 ppm the cycle of concentration will remain optimal, providing maximum system performance. This is achieved by discharging only the necessary amount of water when the above limits are exceeded. The BacComber system uses pairs of emitters and receivers that are placed in the sump of the cooling tower. The number and design of emitters and receivers is based on the physical shape of the cooling tower, water flow rates and water properties. The emitters and receivers are connected to a driver and power supply and ensure that the ULF wave is passed through the water treating the cooling system. BacComber is cost effective, and easy to install on residential, large district and power plant cooling systems. BacComber is successfully protecting hundreds of instillations across APAC, EMEA and the Americas.
