Product uses: HZ-Al*2 may be used for manufacturing heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning components from aluminum alloys. Aluminum alloys from the ***0 and ***0 ranges may be joined successfully with this product.
HZ-Al*2 is particularly well suited for manufacturing mobile / automotive air conditioning components.
Conditions for use: Indirect heating methods should be used in conjunction with HZ-Al*2 wire.
Excessive direct heat should be avoided.
Controlled heat patterns such as those generated with flame brazing using fixed burners,induction heating or furnaces prove most successful.
Flux residues from HZ-Al*2 are non-corrosive and insoluble in water. They may be left on the components after brazing.
