We have an inquiry from one very high-profile buyer who can buy bauxite ore as per following coordinates /terms:
Specifications of the material:

2) Contract period will be minimum one year or two years
3) Quantity- ****0 ******0 MT per month depending upon specifications
4) Payment mode will be by DLC.
5) The seller to give PBG of 2% again considering the high volume.
6) What is the origin of the material and the Load port?
7) Quote Price CIF- ASWP/ All safe ports of China.

On the basis of the above details the Buyer side(smelter) needs the following s from the seller to process further:
a) Introduction /profile of mines area i.e.
1) Nature of enterprise (Pvt/ Govt /individual)
2) Area of mine reserve to asses if requirement can be fulfilled.
3) What is the monthly extraction volume.
4) What is the mines capacity and monthly volume of supply
a) Need to have a copy of mining permit/export permit with validity.
b) Past trade records with China (sanitized). No need to share details of past buyers.
c) Required delivery period (no of days required to affect a shipment) after receipt of LC.
d) Acceptance of inspection report by CCIC /SGS by seller
e) What is the shipping port capacity of loading per day in tonnage of ship.
f) Latest test certificate of the material.
g) Whether the Bauxite ore that are to be supplied, is in powder form or in block/particle (granular) size?
h) Please confirm if the seller will accept CIF terms or FOB terms only.
i) Is the seller the miner himself or a trader? Are you in direct contact with the seller?
j) 2% commission per MT on every shipment invoice amount for our side intermediaries.

Buyer will only be interested in long term contract of *2/*4 months a minimum.

Another important point is, the buyer side being state sponsored entity will expect 5 USD Per MT as commissions for their staff which is to be factored in offer.
