Kiln dried birch firewood, split in *5cm pieces, pcked in convenient to store small wooden boxes with external measurements approx. **8 x *7x **8cm.
Heat-treated logs offer significantly greater heat output compared to fresh firewood.
Vli Firewood is produced from logs, sourced from well-managed forests as company operates under FSC chain and custody policy. Before entering production site, logs are carefully selected and sorted against certain criteria.
Firewood pieces undergo several sorting stages, thus rotten or non-standard logs are set aside while good ones end up in pallets. Hand-stacking allows to fit as much firewood into one crate as possible.
Packed firewood is dried in special timber drying kilns, reaching up to *0°C temperature. Heat-treated logs have low moisture content (usually less than *0%) they are mould and pest-free.
