Beryllium copper is copper alloy with the main alloying elements of beryllium, also known as bronze beryllium. It is a senior elastic material with the best performance among copper alloys. Application:
1. Precising Plastic Mould. Mould made by beryllium copper material are mainly used in auto-mobile, and some other high precision electronic components.
(1). Excellent surface quality. The plastic products produced by mold using beryllium copper as mold material have a excellent surface quality, smooth, more prcising, as beryllium copper have a high thermal conductivity and good heat penetration, avoiding the temperature diversity in different area and avoiding leaving shrink marks in plastic products.
(2). Long life of the mould. For the beryllium copper’s character of goo resistance to thermal stress and high hardness, the life of beryllium copper mould is much longer than average mould steel.
(3). Shorter Producing period. As the beryllium copper have a good character of heat penetration, the temperature when producing get cooled at faster speed.
2. Plunger for horizontal cold chamber die casting machine.
(1).Beryllium copper have a good wear resistance and long service life. (2) Self-lubricating function. When beryllium

punch or steel punch do not form such, so it is easily to damage
the pressure chamber, resulting in a great waste, affecting
production efficiency;
(3) Full beryllium copper
material, with the whole solution, aging treatment, so the
hardness is the same inside and outside. When worn to a certain
extent, the punch can have a secondary processing , to a punch
which can be used for small a pressure chamber, so that life will
be longer;
(4) Cobalt beryllium
copper does not react with the magnesium alloy, is the uniquely
suited punch for magnesium alloy die casting machine;
3. Axle bearing, worm gear, turning-nut, and some other wear-resistant parts. Heavy-duty, high-speed using bearings, bushings, such as pressure test pump sets, mine sheave bearings, rolling mill roller bushings; various rigs worm, heavy-duty, pressure valve body are the application.
Beryllium has excellent wear resistance and thermal conductivity, seven times of the wear resistance and **3 times high thermal conductivity than the phosphor bronze. When working, the surface will forming an oxide film, this film has strong adhesion, auto-genous, and the rugged nature, may provide some lubrication and reduce friction, reduce wear. Moreover, the good thermal conductivity bronze distributing high load transmission from the friction member of the heat generated by the rotation, reducing the friction between the melt down. Thus is an ideal wear-resistant material.
Advantage:
(1) Long life
of beryllium copper mold
For manufacturers, the expected life of
the mold is very important. On the ground of meeting the
requirements of strength and hardness, beryllium copper’s
resistance to thermal stress is much stronger than steel mold,
