Originated in Italy, Bianco Carrara is an exquisite marble known for its extreme elegance and is popular in its use in sculpture and building décor. Carrara marble has been used since the time of Ancient Rome, and towards the end of the *9th century, it became the cradle of anarchism in Italy.
Some of the most remarkable buildings have been constructed from Carrara. These buildings include the Pantheon and Trajan’s Column in Rome. Many a sculpture of the renaissance such as Michelangelo’s David was carved from this marble, and at the time, was valued above all other stone.
