Capacitive relative humidity sensors from Sensirion have become the market standard, since they were launched in ***2. Thanks to its CMOSens® technology, they allow precise humidity and temperature measurement at low cost. Humidity sensors from Sensirion are used widely in diverse applications such as climate control, building control, the automotive industry, data loggers, transmitters, consumer goods, and many more. The SHT*1 digital humidity sensor and temperature sensor is fully calibrated and offers excellent long term stability and ease of use at very low cost. The digital CMOSens® Technology integrates two sensors (humidity sensor and temperature sensor) and readout circuitry on one single chip. The SHTxx is a single chip relative humidity and temperature multi sensor module comprising a calibrated digital output. Application of industrial CMOS processes with patented micro-machining (CMOSens® technology) ensures highest reliability and excellent long term stability. The device includes a capacitive polymer sensing element for relative humidity and a bandgap temperature sensor.
