In cement industry, the beater pulverizers are used
universally, their hammerheads are made of high wear resistant
materials of vanadium-molybdenum alloys. In this kind of
alloys, the microstructure is refined and the columnar grains
are fewer, in addition, the carbides shape as globular, which
further optimize the performance and increase the wearing
resistance. Experiments shows that the wearing resistance of
vanadium-molybdenum alloys is 1.5-1.8 times higher than that of
general high-chromium cast
iron.
Hammer beam is
made of low-alloy, which is excellent both in intensity and
toughness while hammerhead is made of wear resistant material.
We make full use of the advantages of these two kinds of
materials, combine them by composite technology, which enlarges
the applied range of wear resistant materials and prolongs
their lifespan
enormously.
