Product Description

Hulling or separation of outer shells from the grain is one of the main operations in processing cereal products. Hulling with centrifugal hullers, roll hullers, hulling and polishing machines manufactured by Research and Production Company Agro-Simo-Mashbud considerably increases the output and quality of the finished product.

Normally, hulled grain (kernel), excluding buckwheat, is not the finished cereal. The kernel becomes cereal after finishing and polishing –removal of the remaining coat, seed shell, partially aleurone layer and the germinable seeds. Polishing with hulling and polishing machines and the degerminator manufactured by Research and Production Company Agro-Simo-Mashbud improves cereal appearance and its sizing.

The centrifugal huller is designed for high performance sunflower and oats grain hulling with simultaneous shaking and winnowing a part of fibres and hull, crushed corn to select germinable seeds.
Rotor operating surfaces and huller decks are made of high-duty chilled cast iron. To hull other cereals the operating deck surfaces may be made of abrasive or polymer materials.
