System components are quite straightforward : stream b.housings with ceramic elements c.permeate stream stream e.back pulse mechanisms re-circulation loops.Housings are generally placed in vertical orientation(despite the orientation) to facilitate:installation and replacement of elements;drainage when necessary;protection of elements from possible(but unlikely)breakage from mechanical shock. Multi-housing systems have housings arranged in because some pressure is lost through the membrane, and the second ans subsequent housings in series would have less driving pressure without enhancement. We've included half-metre elements and housings in our product array.And we'll provide small versions of filter units for pilot scale customers validate the performance of ceramic membranes in laboratory or pilot scale systems. We encourage this, especially at the pilot scale, since operating parameters become clearer.
