It is important to make sure that your Chinese supplier or customer has the correct certifications or approvals.  Requesting proper documentation for manufacturing and trade certifications/licenses is important but it is vital to confirm and verify that information is genuine and up to date.  Dodgy companies will provide incorrect information which can have harmful consequences.

I will verify that certificates, operating license or approvals of a Chinese company are genuine and valid.  Main sources are the authorities and government bodies that are in charge of approving and issuing the relevant certification or license. I will moreover provide a full translation of all information in Chinese. 

Most common certifications/licenses that I have verified before are:

• CCC - China Compulsory Certification
• CE - Product and Safety mark of the European Union
• QS/SC - Chinese quality and safety mark for food, beverages and other products
• ISO certifications
• CFDA (medical devices, drugs, cosmetics)
• Qualification Certificate for engineering, design and construction companies.
• Foreign trade license (Ministry of Commerce)
• NASG approval for printing world maps
