Circular Sapphire Windows are normally flat polished transparent,
ideal for research, medical, space, military applications where
high pressure, high temperature, high thermal loads, vacuum,
scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, small coefficient of
friction as well as optical and insulating properties are a
consideration.
A wide range of diameters are available from 2mm to **0mm, with
varying thicknesses, and have a standard surface finish of ****0
scratch-dig and wave front error of 3 lambda. *9 percent
transmission from the UV to SWIR is achievable when A/R coated on
two sides.
HYT Sapphire Optics has the capability of developing precision
customized sapphire windows manufactured to your projects
specifications. Featuring surface finishes ***5 scratch-dig,
flatness 1/*0th wave in the visible, and parallelism less than 3
arc/secs.
HYT Sapphire Optics also offers coatings and metallization
solution for circular sapphire windows. Metallization enables
sapphire windows to be hermetically brazed into a metal housing
for harsh or vacuum applications.
