In ***2, PT GEOSERVICES was established its coal laboratory under the terms of a Technical Assistance Agreement with the Australian Coal Industrial Research Laboratory (ACIRL). Highly trained and experienced Indonesian staff perform all work in duplicate, in accordance with internationally accepted standards: ASTM, British Standard (BS), and International Standards (ISO), that was the Geoservices coal laboratory begin.
Now, Quality Control is maintained by daily analysis of standard samples, the results of which are presented as "range charts", and by participation in regular "round robin" testing program. Balikpapan, Banjarbaru, Samarinda, and NPLCT are accredited to ISO ****5.
