By weight, coir fibers account for about one third of the coconut pulp and the rest is coir pith. Coir pith is also known as coco peat or coir dust. Coco pith, a by-product of the coir industry is converted into Organic Compost scientifically by the Coirfed, making it perfect for horticulture and gardening in India and overseas.
