Overview
Atmospheric corrosion resistant steel is made from common steel by
adding a small amount of corrosion resistant elements such as
copper and nickel. It has the properties of high quality steel like
good toughness, plasticity, mouldability, weldability, and
resistance to corrosion, high temperature and abrasion; weather
corrosion resistance is 2~8 times than common carbon steel;
and coating performance is 1.5~*0 times than common carbon steel.
Besides, weathering resistant steel has good resistance to rust,
can highly improve the performance and extend service life of
structure parts, thus is used to make structural parts used in open
atmospheres, corrosive gas and liquid environment.
