MyCOSp is a general purpose smartcard operating system conforming as much as possible to the ISO ***6 standard. It is well suited to develop card-based applications, such as: § Loyalty and bonus schemes § Personal information § Electronic purse with prepaid value MyCOSp is mostly written in C. Those aspects that are dependent on the hardware are well isolated and identified. As such, MyCOSp can easily be ported to new hardware platforms. In the same way, MyCOSp can be conditionally compiled to take advantage of co-processors, such as random number generation (RNG), DES, RSA or SHA1.
