Basing on its long-time experience in the manufacture of pressure tanks, CHEMET has launched the first series of cryogenic tanks - transportable *0’ ISO-Containers. They have been designed for intermodal transportation of liquefied atmospheric gases — oxygen (LOX), argon (LAR), nitrogen (LIN), carbon dioxide (LCO2) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Application Cryogenic ISO-Containers are widely used in intermodal transportation of liquefied atmospheric gases (LIN, LOX, LAR, LCO2) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) - by sea, rail and road. ISO-Container can be used also as a stationary storage cryogenic tank, in a location where cryogenic satellite plant (***** for LNG) is, from different reasons, economically unjustifiable . Design The design of the ISO-Container conforms the regulations of TPED *9/*6/EC and EN ****0 standard — see details in the table below. The container consists of the stainless steel inner tank and the outer carbon steel shell. The tank is mounted in the carbon steel transportation frame. The inner tank is thermically isolated with the super-insulation system which combines vacuum and most technically advanced insulating materials. The outer tank is protected by anticorrosive polyurethane coating system in white color (RAL ***0). Its high reflectiveness prevents the outer tank from overheating. The anticorrosive coating is covered by the durability and quality warranty. Fittings All ISO-Containers are equipped with a complete system of valves and bursting discs, which ensure minimal boil-off rates as well as safe and efficient loading and unloading of liquefied gases.
