The working part of cutters is made of the best special-resistant fine-grained solid (tungsten carbide) alloy. It passes through specially worked out technological process of isostatic compaction of the structure and properties changing, which increases the wear resistance of the tool's cutting edge to the maximum value. The cutting edges are developed by diamond tools on modern computer controlled machines "Siemens" and this resulted in a smooth transition from the radial side of the cutter's working surface to the top. All cutters with diameter up to 2,3 mm (inclusive) are made of solid stock of tungsten- carbide alloy. |
