We are the single largest source in the Middle East for all types of Demister Pads, Wire Mesh and Knitted 
Wire Mesh. In many process operations the removal of entrained material in vapor flows is essential. Knit 
wire products provide a wide range of mist eliminators suitable for any application. The principle of mist 
eliminator operation is based on having a large number of obstacles intercepting entrained droplets in a 
vapor flow. This large number of obstacles must provide minimum drop in pressure over the removal 
system. Mist eliminators are made up from knitted materials with interlocking asymmetrical loops of 
metal or plastic with typical wire diameters being 0.1 – 0.3mm. By careful choice of wire diameter, knit 
wire products have produced mist eliminators with extremely high free volumes (typically ****9%) along 
with very high removal efficiencies and low-pressure drop. Along with wire diameter and mesh density, 
another important parameter in design and operation is the vapor velocity. This can be controlled by 
careful selection of the eliminator area. Optimal area will depend on operating temperature, pressure and 
pressure drop. Under normal operating conditions, *9% + removal efficiency can be achieved with a 
pressure drop of less than **0 PASCAL’s.
