Instruction
  
(1). Monofilament Test (Test of touch sensation)
 
1.Fully extend the monofilament slowly by sliding the to the end of Neuro- Testing Pen until it is firmed in the end of slot.
2.Prepare the patient for test, hold the monofilament in position for **2 seconds before removing, and the monofilament is calibrated to bend at *0g of force. Then observe and ask the patient feeling situation, If there is no touch sensation, it is verified the patient loss of sensation in this position.
3.Monofilaments lose will lose their accuracy if used regularly after **0uses. The workers should be replace the monofilament or Neuropathy Testing Pen, they can also contact directly manufacturer or distributor.
 
(2).Neurotip test (Assessing sharpness sensation)
 
1.Take off the cap, make use alcohol wipe to clean the neurotip.
2.Put the sterile neurotip on neuropathic parts of patients, press the neurotip until the of press gauge arrive *0g marker, then ask the patient whether if they have sharpness pain, if they have any sensation, it is verified they have loss sensation serious in this part.
 
Maintenance
 
1. Before and after using Neuropathy Testing Pen, they should clean monofilament and neurotip with alcohol wipe or antiseptic solution.
2. After clean NeuropathyTesting Pen, adjust monofilament back to the original location to slip to the top of the slot , and cap on neurotip.
