Martensitic stainless steels do not have enough corrosion
resistance and heat treatment like quenching tempering are
necessary, which leads to the higher cost for customers. A
developed new stainless steel has dual phase composed of ferritic
and martensitic phase, which is obtained by a heat treatment
carried out with continuous annealing furnace. This steel has
appropriate hardness, Hv**0, and good formability, therefore,
customers do not need to make a heat treatment, which means total
cost reduction is highly expected.
