We provide dried fish and dried sea cucumber which are popular traditional foods, often valued for their long shelf life and intense flavor, which add a distinct taste to many local dishes.

Dried Fish.

Common Types: The most commonly dried fish we provide are tuna species such as skipjack tuna and yellowfin tuna.

• Preparation: Fish is cleaned, cut into pieces, and typically salted before being laid out to dry under the sun. This process can take a few days, resulting in a firm, salty, and chewy texture.

Dried Sea Cucumber.

• Species: A variety of sea cucumber species are harvested, but those with thicker flesh are preferred for drying and export.
• Preparation: After being cleaned and boiled, sea cucumbers are dried under the sun. The drying process helps preserve the texture and flavors, making them suitable for long-term storage.
• Culinary Uses: Dried sea cucumber is rehydrated before cooking and is typically used in special dishes like stews and curries, often for its unique texture and mild flavor. Its considered a delicacy and is also exported to other countries in Asia, where its prized for its nutritional and purported medicinal benefits.
