THE IKIZCE CRYSTAL

Ikizce crystals are mined from a quarry in the village of Ikizce in the
province of Bilecik. The village is ***0 metres above sea level and the
economy is forestry based. The village is situated on the Inegol -
Bilecik Road where it is *4 km from Inegol and *3 km from Bilecik.
The Ikizce Crystal mine is linked to deposits of nickel, copper, olivine
and iron giving the crystal a unique fine formation in many different
shades and colours but mainly green in colour.
As this crystal in unique and one of a kind, it is also very attractive
and a must for gemstone enthusiasts and collectors. The crystalline
formation is very fine, when cut and shaped produces some magnificent
jewellery. The sparkling effect of the fine mainly green crystals makes
jewellery very attractive.
