1 Function:
The RD sampler is a full-opening pressure controlled tool that used in the casedhole. The tool can be used at any time to sample during the test. The piston propulsion device that installed in the sampling room can achieve to transfer the sample to other container in the high pressure when the tools are lifted to the ground.
2 Principle:
When the applying pressure bursts open the ruptue disk, the annulus pressure will push the mandrel upward to cut off the shear pin. The mandrel keeps moving upward to the upper part of the outer case to push open the sleeve, then the lock piece moves to the circular groove to lock the mandrel, so the fluids will be trapped in the sampling room which is between the mandrel and the sampling case.
