The C1 Coverall is a staple of PEKE Safety's Disposable Toxicological Agent Protective System (DTAPS®) line of protective clothing. It was specifically developed under a government contract for use in dangerous CBRNe conditions and is fielded today by both the Unites States Navy and United States Air Force for medical readiness and response operations. The C1 is constructed of a multi-layer composite chemical barrier laminated to a strong nonwoven substrate and offers protection against chemical warfare agents as well as a broad range of toxic industrial chemicals.
Delivering enhanced strength, durability, flexibility, and comfort, the C1 is available with a custom neck dam that minimized vapor intrusion into the coverall, as well as with a respirator-fit hood with elastic opening that fits tightly around a variety of gas masks.
· Maintains liquid-tight integrity in compliance with ASTM F***9 Standard Test Method for Liquid Penetration Resistance of Protective Clothing or Protective Ensembles under a shower spray on mannequin.
· Provides over *2 hours of protection against chemical warfare agents GA, GB, GD, HD, L & VX.
· {C}Protects against the *1 ASTM F***1 chemicals plus over **0 additional chemicals.
