HOW IT WORK?

E-light therapy is the result of the combination of Intense Pulse Light (IPL) and Radiofrequency (RF) in the same hand piece.
The principles of the treatments are all the same as the IPL but, adding another source of heating (Radiofrequency).
The role of the RF is to pre-heat the target tissue in the treatment area so the light source can work more efficiently and with less energy required to denature the targeted pigment or hair follicle.
The theory of how this works is the tissue in the treatment area is uniformly heated to a safe level with the RF, with the following IPL energy pulse being attracted to and absorbed only by the darker chromophore of the pigment or hair follicle.
The energy required to heat the darker material to a temperature that will destroy it will be less than if the light source is only from the IPL. Of course, the higher is the temperature, the greater is the destruction of the follicle.
