Ebiara

Ebiara belongs to Berlinia.It is also named as Abem, Essabem, Tetekoni, Smanta, Wupa, Ekpopol, Berlinia,Melegba, M'possa, Sarkpei, Obolo  and Gbordourt

Bridge tree , up to *6 M high, up to 1.2 M Diameter .Transverse section.
The heart is  obviously different with the sapwood. The colour of heartwood is  red brown with deep brown or purple stripe. The clour of sapwood is grey white with light pink . Up to *5CM width. Growth wheel is not  obvious

Timber use: suitable for engineering structure, heavy construction decorative veneer, high
grade furniture,fine work, kitchen cabinet , plywood and vehicles  etc
