The advantage and Application of Wrapping
Veneer
Wood edge banding veneer is wildly used in many fields. The veneer
covered on MDF can be used on the use of windows, door frame and
veneer moldings, it preserves the beauty of wood, but also greatly
reduce the waste wood and saving cost. More important, it
successfully resolved in the decoration, furniture, veneer doors,
flooring matching problem.
Edge banding is a common way of making inexpensive wood materials
look more refined and more finished. In edge banding, a length of a
veneer product is applied to the raw edge of plywood or particle
board (other surfaces can be used) and glued into place, thus given
the edge a more finished appearance. Nowadays, we are able to buy
glued finger jointed veneer. The veneer with hot melt glue back can
been easy used, just need hot-press, the veneer will be stick to
the board. Edge banding can also be used to make it seem as if a
certain type of wood is being used when, in fact, it is not. The
practice is commonly used in interior decorating and in the
manufacture of affordable furniture.
Wood Edge banding is usually sold in rolls. The material can be
natural wood veneer, engineered wood veneer, dyed veneer and bamboo
veneer. The thickness of the material is generally from
0.*5mm*0.6mm, though there are exceptions. The width is usual from
8mm***0mm, 1 roll length usually from ******0meter according to
customer requirements
