Timber screw is different from other screws. This screw is
specially designed for wood structure bulidings. Shank ribs
are designed to reduce driving torque by reaming the hole. Special
cutting notches on the thread cut wood structural fibres while the
screw is advancing. Notched thread tip makes the start of
installation easier and prevents timber from splitting.
