What is UHMWPE ?
Ultra High Molecular weight polyethylene ,it is commonly abbreviate UHMWPE, is a subset of thermoplastic engineering plastic,it has extremely long chains with a molecular mass usually between **6 million.
   UHMWPE retains key physical properties and high impact strength, even at low temperature down to ***0 degrees C. This excellent general purpose plastic with self lubricating properties offers noise reduction and low friction surface.
UHMWPE sheet offers a combination of excellent properties: outstanding abrasion resistance,superior impact resistance,non-sticking and self-lubricating properties and excellent mechanical properties,even in cryogenic conditions.

What is HDPE ?
Its outstanding characteristics embrace very high resistance to wear and abrasion, and high performance at extraordinarily low temperatures. Only when temperatures reach **5 degrees F, will UHMW start to soften and lose its abrasion resistance characteristics.
  Its surface won't wrinkle and is weather resistant. Because it is durable it has a long service life and acts as a flexible hinge that won't break. Our HDPE is screen printable too. In addition to the stock sizes, finish and *5 stock colors, our HDPE sheeting can be custom produced to match specific colors, thickness, size and finish.
