We can offer Feather meal *8% protein from Brazil.
Product resultant of the cooking, under pressure, of clean
non-decomposed feathers, obtained during the slaughter of birds,
allowing the participation of the blood as long as its inclusion do
not significantly alter the composition of the feather
meal.
The composition of the gross material has significate effect on the
quality of the product. The raw material resultant of the
processing is destined to the production unit, being received in
bulk or bagged, in bags never used, containing the SIF (Federal
Inspection Service of Brazil) of the frigorific
unit.
The product is, then, dried in granulometry that attends the
requirements of the market, receiving antioxidant treatment that
assures the stability of the final meal and anti- salmonella. The
feather meal contains high values of gross protein of low
digestibility. Its color varies from caramel to dark brown. After
laboratorial analysis, it is validated according to the guarantee
levels.
