Fiber optic twister  inverts an image TO **0°from its surface to its output surface. Fiber optic twisters are used primarily in night vision image intensifier tubes. The objective lens of the night vision device inverts the primary image while the fiber optic Inverter turns this image right side up and provides a compact intensifier package.
