The 8 series is especially designed for fighting fires of
flammable liquids, such as oil products, gasoline,diesel and
organic solvents; however they can also be used against fires of
solid materials such as wood, insulation materials and
plastics.
The generator is made in a shape of cylinder with metal body,
with a nozzle on the end. In fact this generator in the
analogue of AGS*7 but due to the labyrinth construction, the
temperature of the outgoing aerosol stream is reduced
significantly. It is manufactured in two modifications with
protected volumes up to *0 m3 and up to **4 m3. Modifications
also differ by dimensions and weight.
The electrical impulse which comes to the starter * which is installed inside generator, ignites the aerosol forming cartridge. During the burning of it the fire extinguishing aerosol is produced. The aerosol flow penetrates the cooling layer and comes out of generator through the nozzle.
This generator is recommended for use as part of fire extinguishing systems in the premises of medium and large volumes.
