Information about Fixing Roll for Wide Area Fixation of Wound Dressing:
Fixing Roll is meant for use in wide area fixation of wound dressings. It is made from non woven material and has an acrylic adhesive. The adhesive is latex free, hypoallergenic and skin friendly. The fixing roll permeates air and water vapour and is radio transparent. It allows for the dressing of joints without constraining movement and is well suited to all parts of the anatomy

Usage Information:
• Clean and disinfect wound • Cover the wound with dressing • Apply tape along the edges and across the center of the dressing to hold the dressing firmly in place • Replace the tape when changing the dressing or when the tape gets dirty. • If tubing or a device is being secured to the skin, the same precautions must be taken.

Safety Information:
• Do not apply directly to a wound • Discontinue use if a rash, redness or irritation of the skin • Remove slowly along the hair line so as not to damage the skin To be used under the advice and supervision of a registered medical practitioner.
