Nomex Type **0 is a calendered insulation paper which offers high inherent dielectric strength, mechanical toughness, flexibility and resilience.  

Type **0 is the original form of Nomex paper, and is widely used in a majority of electrical equipment applications. Available in *1 thicknesses (2 to *0 mils, or .*5 to .*6 mm) Type **0 is used in almost every known electrical sheet insulation application. Nomex **0, will maintain **0 V/mil (*2 kV/mm) dielectric strength for several hours ar **0°C (**0°F).  Nomex® Type **1 uncalendered, available in thicknesses from 0.*3mm to 0.*8mm. Often used as soft cushioning material or when conformability and impregnability are of importance. 

Nomex® Adhesive Tape can be supplied with an adhesive backing as sheets, tape or die-cut components.   Other Types: Nomex® Type **4, Type **8, Nomex® Pressboard, T**2, T**3 and T**4   Nomex® Aramid Paper Nomex® Aramid Paper Sheets & Tubes - DuPont Nomex is a high-temperature resistant insulation product with an excellent balance of physical and electrical properties. Nomex is made entirely from synthetic aramid polymer in two forms: short fibers (floc) and microscopic fibrous binder particles (fibrids). Nomex has been widely adopted as electrical insulation for liquid and dry transformers, motors, and generators.
